ABOUT > DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Better Together
We believe that we’re better together, that diversity and inclusion are the backdrop for a great work environment. We strive to bring awareness of inclusion in all we do; the little actions, the processes, the daily decisions. We’re at our best when every Kotisian can come as they are and do their best work.

Employee Resource Groups
Our ERGs are a safe and open space for Kotisians to have a dialogue regarding their experiences as it pertains to being a member of a certain group. We allow each ERG to set their own goals and priorities, but support groups with ideas and bring leaders together regularly to share what’s working and what isn’t. Groups identify ways in which Kotis can better support members of each community and may lead events or trainings for the ERG or for all Kotisians to attend to become better allies.

Diversity & Inclusion Committee
Come as you are, Be as you are
Our Diversity & Inclusion Committee is open to all Kotisians who want to contribute to companywide diversity initiatives and encompasses employees, managers, and members of leadership. Those who participate in initiative planning and implementation report they enjoy working with Kotisians they don’t typically interact with in their role, as well as value the opportunity to contribute to impactful, challenging projects.
In addition to specific initiatives, committee members are regularly contributing to our Kotis community by having conversations with co-workers regarding topics like:
- Being aware of unconscious biases in the hiring process, during employee reviews, and internal promotions.
- Identifying areas where Kotis can be more inclusive and applying changes to our processes, employee events and recognition, and training.
- Asking for employee referrals that contribute different background and experiences to our organization, vs more of the same.

Our Mission
The Kotis Diversity and Inclusion committee aims to create an unbiased, inclusive environment in order to better serve ourselves and our clients by initiating feedback, communication, awareness, and education.
